Here at Satellite Studios we provide a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere for creating music.

Over our 15+ years in the recording business we have made hundreds of recordings for everyone from seasoned pros to high school students just starting off. We love songwriters and work with these artists to get the most out of their vision. We also record rock bands and do commercial voice overs.

Our studio has state of the art tools that help us find the sounds that you want to hear on your recording. We have pro-audio recording gear and access to some of Rhode Island’s finest musicians! 

If you are recording for the first time you will likely have many questions. We understand how personal music is to an artist and we will give you straight answers to help your project along and become the sounds you are hearing in your head.

You will not be rushed. We take the time to get it right because if it's important to you, it's important to us. We've recorded hundreds of songwriters and artists and we work hard to make the song demo or CD project exactly what you want it to be. 

Your music deserves to reach its full potential. If you are looking to start selling your songs on iTunes, sell CDs at your shows, get your songs placed in film or TV, or even get a record deal or publishing deal–there’s one thing you will have to do first: make an amazing recording. Owner Emerson Torrey has been involved in the music business for over 40 years and is himself an accomplished musician. Having major label credits from some of the bands he has played in and toured with some big names in the music business like Bob Dylan, Don Henley of the Eagles and Warren Zevon. Emerson is a proud member of the Rhode Island Music Hall of Fame for his work with “The Schemers” and Atco records “The Raindogs”.
